Powell Lenses Datasheet

Powell lenses are laser line generators that shape a laser beam into a straight line with uniform power distribution. They can be found in machine vision lasers and sensors for 3D triangulation. The lenses are manufactured with standard substrate diameters of 6 mm and 9 mm. You can choose any fan angle in a range between 1° and 90°. Furthermore, the optics can be adapted to input beams with different diameters. To achieve the best possible line quality, our partner Blau Optoelektronik also manufactures customized Powell lenses that are optimally adjusted to the beam profile of the applied laser diode.
