Pour-Filled LN2 Scientific Infrared Camera

Source: Teledyne Nova Sensors

Pour-filled infrared cameras by Teledyne Nova Sensors are ideal for process analysis, quality assurance, and scientific imaging applications. They’ve been designed to allow the user to manipulate integration times, frame times, and cold filters in order to meet a wide variety of precise testing parameters.

Pour-filled cameras use a liquid nitrogen filled reservoir to directly cool the camera during its operation. The result is an imaging system that isn’t dependent on cryocooler technology (which can cause vibrations).

These pour-filled infrared cameras feature a 1/3 liter LN2 pour-filled Dewar assembly to maintain temperatures for up to 20 hours unpowered or 9 hours powered, making it an ideal infrared imagers for higher level assemblies conducting test or analysis. Several different models are available with variations in resolution, spectral response, pixel pitch, and frame rates. Both closed cycle and liquid nitrogen filled infrared cameras are available to adapt to the particular application’s form/fit requirements.
