KTP (KTiOPO4) is a versatile nonlinear optical material
KTP (KTiOPO4) is a versatile nonlinear optical material. Its applications include second harmonic generation, waveguide, and optical parametric generation. Because of high damage threshold and high conversion efficiency, KTP is most often used in doubling 1064 nm and 1047 nm laser wavelengths.

ITI's KTP crystals are grey tracking resistant and nonhygroscopic. These features make KTP very suitable in laser systems requiring high power and high efficiency. KTP also has wide angular bandwidth and small walk-off angle. ITI's KTP is a perfect complement for Nd:YVO4 laser crystals in DPSS green laser systems.

KTP is also an excellent material for waveguide applications. ITI's KTP crystal offers high damage threshold, large electro-optical coefficients, and high figure of merit, which is twice of other waveguide materials.
