PIMag® Precision Linear Stage: V-551
The V-551 is a PIMag® Precision Linear Stage with a travel range up to 230mm and a velocity up to 0.5 m/s. The stage employs an ironless magnetic drive for high velocity & acceleration, has a high position resolution by sine-commuted control, and includes a modularly configurable push/pull force.
The V-551 offers absolute precision measurement with an integrated absolute encoder (BiSS Interface) with up to <2 nm position resolution. This reference class linear stage features high travel accuracy from its precision linear guiding rails with crossed rollers, a mechanically adjustable travel range from adjustable hard stops, no cage creep, and no moving cables. With its smooth-running precision linear guiding, this stage is suitable for scanning applications with constant velocity in many fields including metrology, photonics, research, and medical and precision scanning in semiconductor or flat panel display manufacturing.
