OSI Laser Diode Introduces Dual- And Triple-Wavelength Fiber-Coupled Lasers

OSI Laser Diode, Inc. (LDI), an OSI Systems Company, introduces two unique fiber-coupled lasers for optical test instruments available in compact, dual-wavelength (MCW) or triple-wavelength (TCW) packages. Both the MCW Combiner dual-wavelength instrument laser series and the TCW TriBiner triple-wavelength instrument laser series offer high peak optical power and feature divisional wavelength values of 650 nm, 850 nm, 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm and 1650nm.

OSI Laser Diode’s MCW Combiner family is available in three models with a variety of standard options.  The TCW TriBiner series comes in two standard versions.  Other combinations are available, upon request, for both product series.  The TriBiner standard version fiber-coupled device also incorporates a 650 nm red laser option, making it well-suited for fault-finding tasks.

The flexible and reliable devices deliver high peak optical power in very compact, space-efficient footprints.  RoHS compliant, the new dual- and triple-wavelength instrument lasers are ideal for OTDR instruments, spectroscopy, photon counting, optical sensors, talk sets, and other multiple-wavelength applications.
