OSA20 Optical Spectrum Analyzer

OSA20

Yenista Optics’ new optical spectrum analyzer, the OSA20, uses a touch-sensitive display with multitouch gesture control. Designed for R&D and production environments, it operates from 1250 to 1700 nm.

Combined with a 20-pm-wavelength-resolution bandwidth, a high-performance monochromator and sampling every 2 pm, the diffraction-grating-based instrument scans up to 2000 nm/s for ultraprecise spectral measurements. Wavelength accuracy is within ±20 pm over the C and L bands.

Applications include channel analysis of DWDM signals, and detailed analysis of single-mode lasers, broadband sources, optical fiber amplifiers and passive optical components. Input/output ports with multiple USB and Gigabit Ethernet ports allow integration into a broad range of test systems.
