Perfect for low cost, quick and easy measurements aiding the development of Laser Diodes, VCSEL's, LED's and Diode Pumped Solid State Lasers. These compact spectrometers connect directly to a notebook PC's Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP version) or can plug directly into a PC desktop (ISA version). Rugged, with no moving parts they have a superior athermal design for greater sensitivity.

Simply attach your fiber-coupled laser source to our OSA and you're taking peak and centroid measurements on the fly. The high speed parallel port interface enables real-time feedback, ideal for both development and process control. You can daisy chain up to 16 units in one computer for maximum productivity.

The software provides functions for peak wavelengths at Full Width Half Maximum, centroid and area power spectral density in watts/m2 or dBm. Irradiance calibration for the Y axis magnitude is performed at the factory with an NIST traceable light source. Real-time graphing provides spectrum displays with robust control features including persistence overlay, data cursors, spectrum save, load, multi-plot and multi-channel display.
