OPCO offers optical components and micro optics that employ materials like fused silica, low and high index glass, silicon germanium, sapphire, CaF2, MgF2, and ZnSe. Optical Components
OPCO turns, shapes, grinds and polishes a wide variety of optical components up to 400mm in diameter with 10 -5 surface quality, surface accuracy to Lambda/20, tolerances to 10 microns, wedge or prism angles down to seconds, and centration error within seconds. These optical components are ideal for applications involving imaging, radiometers, illumination, laser printers, projection, military systems, spectrophotometers, medical instrumentation, inspection systems, optical scanning, semiconductors, and lithography.
Micro Optics
OPCO’s micro optics line adheres to the same standards in surface quality, surface accuracy, tolerance, centration, and wedge and prism angles, but down to sizes less than 2mm in diameter. These optics are ideal for endoscopes, boroscopes, biomedical and medical instrumentation, blood analysis, analytical instrumentation, chromatography, optical data storage, and fiber optic telecommunication.
