OpTek Systems Expands
OpTek Systems (Abingdon, UK) recently confirmed plans to add 8000 sqft of temperature controlled production and laboratory space to its Abingdon, UK facility. The 20,000 sqft space will include semi-cleanroom additions to accommodate OpTek’s growth in precision laser processing services and equipment fabrication.
This follows four years of record growth, which has also seen the company expand into bigger premises in North America and to win the 2011 Queen’s Award for International Trade.

Over 75% of OpTek’s business is exported, with major markets being USA and China.
