We caught up with Jan Verplancke at Umicore on day two of SPIE’s DSS exhibition to learn about his company’s new 14mm lens. This innovative optic offers a 40° FOV when used with a 17 micron VGA detector, and is also compatible with the newer generation of 12 micron detectors.
