Non-Contact Thickness Management
Bristol’s line of Optical Thickness Gauges use white light interferometry to achieve unparalleled accuracy in non-contact thickness measurement. These systems are used extensively to measure multi-layer transparent and semi-transparent materials, including optical components and lens assemblies. Our systems are easily integratable into manufacturing processes to improve quality, increase yields, and reduce costs.
Thickness Gauge System Features:
- Measure hard and soft materials without damage or deformation
- Simultaneously measures all layers (including air gaps)
- Measure layers as thin as 12 µm to assemblies up to 80 mm
- Accuracy as high as ± 0.1 µm
