Melles Griot Laser Groupifornia — Joseph C. Horchak, formerly Vice President Sales and Marketing at Avimo Precision Polymer Optics, has joined <%=company%>, as Director of Sales. Joe has over 20 years sales and marketing experience with more than 15 years in a management capacity. At Melles Griot he will be directly responsible for the photonics sales force in the United States, and will contribute his expertise in training and sales development to the worldwide Melles Griot organization.

Joe graduated from West Coast University and holds a Master of Science degree in marketing management and an MBA in finance and international management. He has a long track record of building strong customer relations and is an interactive problem-solver who empowers those around him to do their best to serve their customer's needs.

A well-known industry figure and a member of the CLEO steering committee, Joe has frequently conducted sales and marketing workshops within the photonics industry. As Joe has said, "The key to motivating people is to give them a clearly defined goal and provide them the tools to reach the goal."
