New addition to iFLEX-Viper line meets the needs of applications needing up to 60mW power from fiber's end

Qioptiq, global designer and manufacturer of photonic products and solutions, has announced that its iFLEX-Viper compact multi-line laser source is now available in a high power version (HPV) for use with applications needing output power from the end of the fiber of up to 60mW.

The iFLEX-Viper and iFLEX-Viper HPV are both compact multi-line laser sources with a modular singlemode fiber delivery system.

Up to five individual lasers can be efficiently combined and delivered through one singlemode, polarization-maintaining fiber.

The system is mode-hop free and wavelength stabilized as a direct result of active temperature control. A closed loop control provides long-term power stability.

Parallel processing – applying several wavelengths in a single co-linear beam – can make significant process improvements and cost savings in applications including cell, microarray and wafer analysis. The high power version means faster throughput too.

In the lab, the robust iFLEX-Viper can be easily moved around the bench and shared between projects for highly cost-effective research investment.

For manufacturers, iFLEX-Viper offers a single, highly functional platform, engineered to exact specifications, for precise and reliable laser delivery.
