Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) Systems

Source: Image Science Ltd

Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) Systems help system designers predict the actual image-forming capability of an optical system. These systems compensate for image degradation caused by inevitable aberrations and diffraction phenomena.

Image Science designs and manufactures Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) Systems for research and development, automated production testing, and other applications in the defense and commercial markets. Each systems includes a cooled or uncooled CCD camera for real-time measurement, UV and NIR camera options, a PMT (photomultiplier tube) scanning option, a beam-steering mirror or swinging arm mechanism for off-axis testing, and more.

To learn more about Image Science’s Visible and IR MTF Systems, and the systems’ specifications and software, please download the available brochure.
