Mini SWIR JSX Snapshot Camera - 30 FPS Datasheet

The Mini-SWIR™ JSX Snapshot Camera (GA1280JSX) is a compact, high-performance imaging solution designed for real-time surveillance and imaging in both daylight and low-light conditions.

Operating in the Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) spectrum from 0.9 to 1.7 μm—with an optional extension down to 0.5 μm for visible-to-SWIR response—it enables enhanced imaging capabilities in challenging environments, including through fog, dust, and smoke.

This all solid-state InGaAs imager features a 1280 x 1024 pixel format with a 12.5 μm pixel pitch, offering 30 frames per second full-frame rate and the ability to maintain a 100% duty cycle across varying illumination intensities. The camera is equipped with on-board Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and real-time non-uniformity corrections (NUCs), ensuring reliable performance in high-dynamic-range scenes, such as urban night imaging, without blooming effects.

The Mini-SWIR camera’s compact design (< 4.5 in³) and low power consumption (< 3.0 W at 20°C) make it ideal for integration into unmanned aerial systems (UAS), handheld devices, robotic systems, and driver vision enhancement platforms. Its rugged construction, tested to MIL-STD-810G standards, supports reliable operation in extreme conditions (-40°C to +70°C), including resistance to shock, vibration, thermal changes, and humidity.

With a 12-bit Camera Link® digital output, windowing, binning, and in-field offset correction capabilities, the camera is suitable for both military and commercial applications, including covert surveillance, laser detection, silicon wafer inspection, and enhanced vision systems (EVS). Its flexibility and performance make it an optimal choice for advanced imaging systems.
