Video Microscope System Integrates Advanced Optics, Fiber Optics And CCD Components

San Jose, CA -- Moritex USA Inc. has introduced the MS-804 Scopeman digital video microscopy system, the latest in Moritex's line of CCD microscope systems integrating advanced optics, fiber optics and CCD components.

The MS-804 is a micro-inspection station that incorporates proprietary honeycomb CCD camera technology, multi-exposure, high intensity LED lighting and powerful software for acquisition of sharp, high resolution images (1280 x 960 pixel) with depth-of-field.

The new system introduces a range of features enabling it to undertake micro-inspection applications. By changing the cameras shutter speed and combining ‘bright' and ‘dark' images the MS-804 provides an enlarged dynamic range enabling parts of a subject that are too dark or bright on other systems to be clearly seen and captured in a single image. A new digital zoom feature allows for magnification of a feature of interest. Measurement features have also been further improved and expanded.

The MS804 Scopeman is available with a range of zoom lens (16x – 200x), XY and Z stages, camera mounts and a variety of imaging peripherals.
