Technical Note: Maximizing The Speed of Data Acquisition For PIXIS Cameras

To take full advantage of the outstanding speed offered by Princeton Instruments PIXIS cameras, users need to utilize the platform's Custom Chip and Custom Timing modes via Princeton Instruments WinSpec or LightField™ software. These custom modes, available in all of the latest camera platforms from Princeton Instruments, yield much faster spectral rates than those achievable using a region of interest (ROI).
