Laser Components Looks Ahead: Matt Robinson Named New General Manager/COO

Bedford, NH – Laser Components USA, Inc. is pleased to announce Matt Robinson as their new General Manager / COO. Robinson came to Laser Components in 2006, supporting the growth of the company over the past 14 years, including his tenure as Sales Director since 2016. Matt has over 30 years of experience in fiber optics and photonics, working for Corning Inc. and Schott AG.

Laser Components GmbH was founded in 1982, as a home run business and has developed over thirty years into a global company with a network of suppliers and distributors. Laser Components USA, Inc. positioned itself as a base of operations for the sales, marketing, and distribution of photonic products for North America in 2000. Tradition is paramount in our company and innovation is key to our success. We offer several different products that include IR, APD/PLD, Photodiodes, Laser Diodes and Laser Modules, Optics, and Fiber Optics. Matt has been an integral part of Laser Components USA, Inc. and has made a name for himself as an expert in pulsed laser diodes, avalanche photodiodes, and IR components. He is highly respected in the industry, and an authority on LiDAR technologies. He holds a BSME from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from University of New Hampshire.
