Low SWaP Infrared Cameras: DRS Tamarisk®Series
Sierra-Olympic offers the DRS Technologies series of Tamarisk infrared cameras for applications with size, weight, and power restrictions. They feature 17µm pixel pitch technology, resolutions of 320x240, or 640x480, ICE (image contrast enhancement), an integrated shutter for flat field correction, both analog and digital outputs, and a 2-year warranty.
There are two models available in this series; The Tamarisk 320 with 320x240 pixel resolution, and the Tamarisk 640 with 640x480 resolution. With both models, there are several configurations available with variations in focal length, field-of-view, weight, size, range, and focus type.
The cameras are ideal for medical imaging, traffic monitoring (white hot), public transportation (black hot) critical infrastructure security, and other applications with strict SWaP restrictions. For more information on the series’ features and specifications, download the brochure.
