Laue Desktop X-Ray CCD Camera System

The Laue Desktop X-Ray CCD Camera System is ideal for crystal growth applications involving x-ray characterization, x-ray crystal orientation, and X-ray back scattered diffraction.

The Laue X-ray CCD Camera features an 1872 x 1280 pixel resolution and 16-bit digitization, and is used to record digital backscattered Laue diffraction patterns. X-ray beams passed through the camera are collimated to <0.5mm diameter. The high resolution mode can be used to detect twinned structures in crystal growth. In standard high resolution, Laue X-ray imaging system is a simple solution for a replacement of Polaroid film. This solution is also ideal for replacing film-based Laue systems for industrial applications; for example monitoring for imperfections in high performance turbine blades made from advanced alloys, Silicon Carbide, Sapphire Silicon and other single materials such as laser / scintillator / detector materials: YAG, LiF, CdTe.
