Laser World Of Photonics: Innovation Cobolt Disco Expands Portfolio - Trade Fair Innovations From HÜBNER Photonics
Innovations at Laser World of Photonics 2025: At the most important European trade fair for the photonics and laser industry, HÜBNER Photonics will be presenting the Cobolt Disco, amongst the list of new products. In keeping with the product name, the unveiling of the new Cobolt Disco will be celebrated at the opening night, on Tuesday 24 June. Customers and attendees are invited to a disco-themed booth party starting from 5 pm at booth B2.217. The special night will feature disco music, stylish outfits and disco dance perfomers. Laser World of Photonics will take place from June 24 to 27, 2025 at Messe Munich.
Latest addition to high-power lasers
As a leading innovator in the photonics industry, the HÜBNER Potonics team is looking forward to showcasing the latest developments at booth B2.217 and connecting with professionals from around the world. The latest addition to the portfolio of high-power lasers is the new Cobolt Disco. The single-frequency laser at 785 nm with 500 mW of power in a perfect TEM00 beam is an extension of the Cobolt 05-01 series platform.
With these values, the Cobolt Disco impresses with excellent stability at wavelengths with a linewidth of less than 100 kHz and a spectral purity of more than 70 dB without an ASE background. These parameters provide the necessary performance for high-resolution Raman spectroscopy measurements at very low frequencies and holography. Additionally, visitors familiar with HÜBNER Photonics products will also get an exclusive sneak-peek of new products that are scheduled to be market released later in the year. These include the new VALO at 3 W, the C-WAVE BTS, as well as the Ampheia 1064 nm & 532 nm at 5W.
Very high degree of insensitivity thanks to HTCure technology
All Cobolt lasers are manufactured using HTCure’s proprietary technology. Their compact, hermetically sealed packages offer a very high degree of insensitivity to changing environmental conditions as well as exceptional reliability. With a proven lifespan and several thousand devices installed in the field, Cobolt lasers demonstrate high reliability and performance in both laboratory and industrial environments.
At the Laser World of Photonics in Munich, HÜBNER Photonics will be presenting its complete product portfolio: These include lasers that are specifically designed for the application areas of fluorescence microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and quantum research.
Innovative lasers for cancer diagnostics, holography systems and life science imaging
Interactive displays and demonstrations will provide attendees with a hands-on experience of the company’s state-of-the-art solutions and full product portfolio. This includes the VALO Femtosecond Series lasers, which are paving the way for the future of cancer diagnostics systems, the renowned C-WAVE Series of widely tunable lasers, driving the development of revolutionary holographic windshield and window displays for vehicles, and the C-FLEX Series of laser combiners, designed to simplify laser integration into bioimaging systems.
