The LaserSource has features you would expect from a laser driver, such as safety interlock, ESD protection, and hardware limit circuits for current and voltage. In addition, the LaserSource has unique features not found on competing products including optically isolated photodiode and modulation inputs, programmable PD bias, and a constant voltage control mode.

4200 Series Overview

The 4201 LaserSource is the lowest noise, most precise laser diode driver we offer. With 10uA set point resolution and less than 3uA of noise, the 4201 will work well in low power laser and LED applications, such as VCSEL and TO-5.6 packaged lasers.

The 4205 LaserSource is our most popular laser driver in the 4200 Series, offering an excellent combination of low noise, accuracy, and resolution. The 4205 will work well in low power pump lasers, high power LEDs, and other applications requiring up to 500mA of drive current.

The 4210 LaserSource is the highest current laser driver available in the 4200 Series. With 1,000mA of drive current, the 4210 works well with pump lasers, high power buferfly deviecs, and other applications requiring up to 1,000mA of drive current.
