Press Release - PIC International

KrellTech will be attending PIC International 2026, taking place April 21–22 in Brussels, Belgium, where the company will be highlighting its NOVA GEO Waveguide and PIC Polisher for the photonic integrated circuit market.

As the longest-running event dedicated to PICs, PIC International brings together key decision makers from across the supply chain, including materials and equipment suppliers, foundries, advanced packaging houses, module and subsystem suppliers, OEMs, and equipment makers. The conference is designed to connect the PIC industry while giving attendees insight into the latest technologies, manufacturing processes, and market opportunities shaping the future of photonic integration.

This year’s event will feature presentations across four major themes: the foundations of PIC design, connectivity and scalability for secure high-speed data networks, emerging applications in sensing and imaging, and future computing applications involving photonic processing, quantum computers, and neural networks. Delegates will also gain exposure to advances in tools and processes aimed at improving performance and yield.

KrellTech is proud to be part of that conversation and to showcase how its polishing technology supports the continued advancement of PIC and waveguide manufacturing.

“PIC International brings together an important cross-section of the photonics industry, from device and process innovators to the companies focused on manufacturing, packaging, and system-level performance,” said Justin Frick, Director Of Product Development at KrellTech. “We’re excited to attend and highlight the NOVA GEO Waveguide and PIC Polisher as part of the broader discussion around the future of photonic integrated circuits.”

KrellTech’s NOVA GEO Waveguide and PIC Polisher is designed to support the precise polishing requirements of waveguides and photonic integrated circuits, helping users pursue controlled geometry, repeatability, and process consistency for advanced photonics applications.

PIC International is part of AngelTech, which brings together an Innovation Summit, four co-located conferences, and an exhibition featuring more than 120 presentations, more than 700 delegates, and over 80 exhibitors. By uniting leaders in compound semiconductors, PICs, power electronics, and advanced packaging, AngelTech provides a valuable setting for networking, insight, and cross-industry collaboration.

KrellTech looks forward to connecting with attendees in Brussels and contributing to the ongoing conversation around the technologies, tools, and processes shaping the next generation of PIC-enabled applications.
