JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH Extends The Product Range

Jena - At the Laser 2005 in Munich JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH shows the extension of it's product line based on high-efficiency bars for the first time.

All conduction cooled products which are currently based on high-power diode lasers with 40 W cw optical output power optionally are available with 50% higher output power, too. This allows 60 W cw from the mounted high-efficiency bar, or up to 75 W cw passively cooled from a 0.4 mm single core fiber, based on two high-efficiency bars.

Water cooled products which have been available with 50..60 W cw optical output power from one submount will be completed with one high-efficiency product line with 80 W cw optical output power from one submount. Another high-efficiency product line for 940 nm material delivers 100 W cw per submount. With this high-power line of high-efficiency bars up to 2.5 kW cw optical output power is possible from one stack with 25 diode laser submounts.

Fiber-coupled stacks with 140 and 250 W cw from the fiber are now optionally available with 210 and 375 W cw.

"A wide range of applications including the solid state laser pumping of rods, slabs, disks, and fibers, the medical use, and the graphics arts now is possible with a significantly improved cost structure."
