Diode lasers with high brilliance
During Photonics West 2010, the Diode Lasers business unit of Jenoptik´s Lasers and Material Processing division will showcase its high-brightness diode laser modules with 105 µm fiber core diameter (NA 0.15). They are based on the coupling of several single emitters and are characterized by a high level of robustness and easy handling. The main areas of application of the fiber-coupled modules are optical pumping of fiber lasers and direct material processing.

The company will also present the entire technology chain of diode lasers as OEM components ranging from epitaxial layer structures, laser bars and single emitters, diode laser packages to vertical and horizontal stacks as well as fiber-coupled diode lasers for different industrial, medial and scientific applications.
