Sneak preview of Janos Technology's new corporate vision -- "The Power Of Focus" -- premiers exclusively at Photonics West booth #6308

Townshend, VT -- Janos Technology, Inc., a world leader in advanced infrared optical components and assemblies, will premier its new corporate vision, "The Power of Focus," at the 2004 Photonics West show. This preview will give insight into some of the many enterprise-wide changes slotted for 2004. Janos will be not only moving its facility from the current location in Townshend, VT, but also unveiling an entirely new corporate makeover and strategy that compliments the new square footage.

In booth #6308, Janos will display teasers of the new facility, web site, trade show booth, corporate image, and strategies. The new Keene facility utilizes lean manufacturing techniques throughout its design along with providing space to implement numerous production enhancements and an improved level of clean room environments. Scheduled for February 2004 launch, the new web site also will be available for viewing at the booth via screen shots. Shortly after launch, the new site will include E-commerce and a real time "Knowledge Center."

Janos is excited to introduce the full scope of this makeover, including the new trade show booth, strategy and complete corporate identity at the Defense and Security Symposium (DSS) in April.

"Photonics West gives Janos Technology a unique opportunity to share our new future vision and direction with members of the photonics community" says Brett Rosner, president, Janos Technology. "These external improvements are merely the tip of the iceberg to the many internal continual improvements that will keep Janos on the edge of technology for years to come."

Janos has already added a new president, director of quality and most recently, a new coating director to their staff. Furthermore, Janos' Custom Solutions Group (CSG), led by Director of Engineering and Chief Optical Designer, Chris Alexay, has newly expanded capabilities enabling full static and dynamic analysis of thermal and vibration properties of structures to accommodate the more challenging customer designs requirement.
