InSight™ is a dedicated in-line video inspection station that accepts Krell workholders to inspect parts without unloading, reducing handling, damage, and contamination.
KrellTech’s Insight™ In-line Video Inspection Station provides a robust solution for monitoring the polishing process in real-time. Unlike standard benchtop microscopes that require components to be unloaded and re-fixtured for viewing, the Insight™ is engineered to engage directly with Krell’s Scepter, NOVA, and SpecPro polishing fixtures. This "quick-engagement" design allows operators to inspect surface finishes and check for defects immediately after a polishing step, ensuring that the manufacturing workflow remains uninterrupted and efficient.
The system features high-resolution optics with interchangeable objective lenses, offering standard magnifications (typically 80x to 400x) to suit various inspection needs, from gross defect detection to fine scratch analysis. It utilizes epi-illumination (coaxial lighting) to reveal surface details on fibers and connectors that might otherwise be missed.
