Hamamatsu's InGaAs devices for laser diode (LD) monitoring include front-illuminated and back-illuminated InGaAs PIN photodiodes. Devices specifically designed as channel monitors for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) monitoring include a photodiode array and image sensors.
