InGaAs Image Sensors For NIR Imaging (G11097 series)

Source: Hamamatsu Corporation

Hamamatsu's G11097-0606S and G11097-0707S are low-cost InGaAs image sensors with 64 x 64 pixels and 128 x 128 pixels, respectively. With spectral sensitivity from 950 nm to 1700 nm, they are suitable for most NIR imaging applications that currently use more expensive, higher density image sensors. Such applications include thermal imaging, laser beam profiling, and NIR inspection.

These image sensors feature a hybrid structure consisting of a back-illuminated InGaAs photodiode array bump-bonded to a CMOS readout circuit. The readout circuit has a built-in timing generator that provides an analog video output and AD-TRIG output, which are easily obtained by just supplying a master clock and master start pulses. The hybrid sensor chip and a one-stage TE cooler that ensures stable operation are hermetically sealed in a metal package.
