Eastman Kodak Co.lion pixel full frame Blue Plus image sensor has a large image area and is particularly well suited for medical, scientific, and industrial applications.
It has 2084 x 2084 pixel resolution charge couple device (CCD). The imager features large, 24 um square pixels for a total imager size of 50mm (H) x 50mm (V). It joins the family of Digital Science Blue Plus image sensors with improved quantum efficiency across the visible spectrum. There are two electronically selectable amplifiers for high sensitivity or high gain output. Binning is available in both directions allowing for larger pixels and well capacity.
