iCam Compatibility Checker

Some iXon+, iXon and Luca cameras will be upgradable with iCam technology.

Download the compatibility checker on this page to test whether your existing camera can be upgraded to iCam. If eligible, the checker will interrogate your system and report on what you need to be fully upgraded.

• Firmware - A fundamental requirement for all camera upgrades is the iCam firmware upgrade CD. Contact Andor sales to order a copy of this.
  
• PCI card (iXon / iXon+) - If you are an iXon or iXon+ user, iCam requires CCI-23 PCI card. The compatibility checker will inform you whether or not you need to contact Andor sales to arrange upgrade to the CCI-23 card.
  
• iQ software - If you are an Andor iQ user, version 1.7 is essential to benefit from the new iCam performance. If you are within iQ warranty, this is provided free of charge. If you are outside of warranty, the standard iQ upgrade price applies.
  
• 3rd party software – If you are using a non-Andor 3rd party imaging software, updated camera drivers are required from the software company (or their local distributor) to avail from enhanced iCam performance through that software.
