Homogeneous Laser Illumination For Sophisticated Metrology
Datasheet: Homogeneous Laser Illumination For Sophisticated Metrology
Brochure: Optical Pumping With High-Power Diode Lasers
Micro-optic homogenizers are the basis of new laser sources for illumination. The generated, homogeneous illuminated fields are used in metrology, e.g. medicine or chemical analysis.
The new LIMO50- L28x28-DL795-EX473 emits 50 W output power. The high-power diode laser homogeneously illuminates an area of 28x28x80 mm. The center wavelength of 794,8 nm /- 0,2 nm and the spectral width of only 0,7 nm offer a so far unrivalled wavelength stability, that is in particular essential for the hyperpolarisation of inert gases for NMR spectroscopy or in magnetic resonance tomography. In addition, the laser beam is >97 % circular polarized for high-resolution measurements. For Xenon gas the hyperpolarisation effect is proven to be two times higher compared to existing products.
The reliable and economic light sources operate with thermoelectric cooling or simple tap water cooling according to LIMO cooling standards, which guarantees highest fail-safe and equipment availability. A compact laser head size of 445x110x66 mm allows the use in portable measurement devices.
