High-Speed Laser Engraving and Cutting System

The Industrial Laser Sourcepeed Laser Engraving and Cutting System is being called a work cell because any of the ILS lasers are able to fit to the work cell in minutes. This concept allows end users and integrators a cost-effective solution. When upgrades are called for to meet production requirements the ILS work cell proves to be a simple resolution.

The ILS work cell designed around a rugged steel base fit with locking heavy-duty casters and a precision machined top plate. The compact size and casters provide easy mobility into existing production processes. The system can be moved from line to line and inserted quickly and efficiently. The precision top plate is capable of housing high tolerance tooling to meet any requirement. Under the top plate is a spacious single shelf that is capable of housing all types of tooling; electronics, and mechanisms that wind or unwind.

The engraving cutting portion of the system based around the patented high speed beam steering galvanometer. Through the use of fast and accurate computer controlled mirrors; any geometric shape or alpha numeric characters can be cut or etched into a variety of materials. A large array of optics can be suitable to the system allowing flexibility in the process speed and the working field size.

This system is ideal for processing of non-metal packaging and pharmaceutical materials. Special provisions have been implemented for easy configuration of the system to kiss-cut and cut through in the same cycle. Other available options provide marking or cutting continuous strings of characters that run outside the standard working field.
