High Resolution IP67 LWIR Camera: Serval-640-GigE
Xenics’ Serval-640-GigE and Serval-640-GigE Thermography are LWIR cameras designed for use in in-line process and quality control, and for thermography and thermal imaging in harsh industrial environments, respectively. Both have a spectral band of 8µm to 14µm and 640x480 resolution. They have been specifically designed for industrial imaging applications that call for rugged and reliable cameras without the need for third-party enclosures.
There are several features that make Serval-640-GigE cameras ideal for harsh industrial environments. First is the IP67 protection grade enclosure. Secondly, the small size provides front window protection with air purge to protect the camera’s lens, and to allow permanent use in atmospheres with copious amounts of dust. These two things alone make the Serval-640 GigE LWIR camera easy to integrate and allows for maintenance-free installation.
The Serval-640-GigE Thermography distinguishes itself from the Serval-640-GigE Imaging with its radiometric calibrations that allow the user to measure temperatures. Xenics offers 4 standard temperature ranges: -20°C to 120°C, 50°C to 400°C, 300°C to 1200°C and 1000°C to 2000°C.
