High Resolution, High Throughput Spectrometers For Raman Spectroscopy Applications
Source: Tornado Spectral Systems

Ed Albe and Jeffrey Meade of Tornado Spectral Systems tell us about the HyperFlux U1 HTVS (high throughput virtual slit) enabled spectrometer at Photonics West 2013. Traditional spectrometers would have to sacrifice light throughput to achieve high spectral resolution. The virtual slit technology that the HyperFlux U1 employs allows almost all of the light to reach the focal plane while achieving high spectral resolution. Visit booth #5311 to see it in person.
