The GM-6-HR series high resolution gimbal mounts are designed for critical pointing and alignment applications in the laboratory and research environments.
Newmark's high resolution gimbal mounts are offered in manual and motorized versions. It features sub-arc second resolution and backlash free motion with a unique leadscrew drive system. The crossed roller bearings in both axes provide excellent stability and smoothness of motion in a small profile. The motorized version has .009 arc-second resolution. The elevation range is 360 degrees continuous in coarse mode. The Azimuth coarse range is 90 degrees. The fine mode in both axes is 6 degrees. A unique clutch system is used in the coarse mode.
