Cobolt’s MLD Series of high performance fixed wavelength laser diode modules cover the spectral range from 405 nm to 660 nm and offer excellent beam quality and modulation performance in an ultra-robust and compact design. The Cobolt MLD Series lasers are intended for stand-alone use in laboratory environment, or for integration as an OEM component in analytical or metrology instrumentation equipment. These high performance laser diode modules offer the ultimate flexibility and are easy to integrate since all of the control electronics have been integrated in a standard size laser head.

Cobolt’s MLD Series high performance laser diode modules feature easy integration, an ultra-robust and compact design, the ability to power up to 100 mW in a perfect beam, and more. Fast and deep modulation from versatile input signals is made possible through direct intensity modulation. The wavelengths in which the MLD Series of high performance laser diode modules operate in, as well as the series direct intensity modulation capability, make these laser diodes ideal for fluorescence analysis applications such as confocal microscopy and flow cytometry, as well as in optogenetics, microlithography and metrology applications.
