Hamamatsu Introduces New 20 W Xenon Flash Lamps Featuring High Stability And Long Service Life
Hamamatsu Photonics introduces new 20-watt xenon flash lamps that offer high stability and long service life due to a new electrode with improved wear-resistance. The xenon flash lamps, which emit UV to NIR light, have high output stability, a guaranteed lifetime of 1.0 x 108 flashes, and a maximum flash rate of 300 Hz. They require 0.5 J maximum input energy and 700-1000 V supply voltage.
Four series are available. The L1193X series has an arc length of 1.5 mm, and the L1194X series has a 1.5 mm arc length and a built-in reflector. Lamps with a 3.0 mm arc length are also available, with a built-in reflector (L1196X series) and without (L1195X series). Each series has four wavelength range options: 160-3000 nm, 185-3000 nm, 190-3000 nm, and 240-3000 nm.
These 20 W xenon flash lamps are ideal light sources for many applications. In the biological research and healthcare fields, they can be used in microtiter plate readers and blood analyzers. In environmental testing, they are suitable light sources for atmospheric and water quality analyses. In industry, they serve as strobe lights for high-speed image processing along a factory assembly line and as light sources in semiconductor inspection equipment.
Hamamatsu's new 20 W xenon flash lamps will be exhibited at Photonics West 2012 (booth 1313). For more information about 20 W xenon flash lamps, including pricing and delivery time, visit http://sales.hamamatsu.com.
