GSI Lumonics Announces an Order for Laser Trim Systems

Billerica, MA -- GSI Lumonics Inc. announced the receipt of an order for multiple WaferTrim™ M310 systems from a leading US-based integrated circuit (IC) manufacturer. The total value of this order is approximately $7 million. The systems will be delivered in the first quarter of 2004.

Laser trim is a critical tool used in the production of precision linear and mixed signal devices with increased functionality on smaller geometry die. It assists in the process to produce multiple devices from the same die.
