Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectral Sensor For Spectroscopy: NeoSpectra™

Source: Si-Ware USA

The NeoSpectra™ from Si-Ware Systems is a small, low-cost Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectral Sensor designed especially for use in quantifying, qualifying, or identifying materials in spectroscopy applications. This finely tuned sensor module is meant to create mobile devices that can instantly analyze a wide variety of materials including oil, gas, pharmaceuticals, food, and soil. By using this instrument, end-users have the ability to immediately quantify composition, determine any impurities, and define its quality within minutes and without the need for offsite lab verification.

The first generation of NeoSpectra sensors operates throughout wide spectral ranges in the near-infrared (NIR) region, which enables the analysis of various properties. These sensors are constructed from low-cost, robust, permanently aligned, and highly reproducible components. Their core technology is centered on semiconductor fabrication techniques, promising exceptionally low costs.
