Fostec Acquisition Planned by Schott Joint Venture

Schott Fiber Optics (Marlborough, MA), a joint venture with SLI Inc. (Canton, MA) has signed a letter of intent to acquire the business and assets of specialty fiber optics manufacturer Fostec Inc. (Auburn, NY). Terms were withheld pending finalization of the deal. Fostec produces fiber optic products for sterolithography and machine vision applications.
