FLIR Thermal Imaging Cameras Monitor The Quality Of Vessel Constructions

Source: Teledyne FLIR

Shipbuilding requires advanced, non-destructive testing methods for ensuring the quality of the ship's construction, and therefore the quality of the fleet. In response, research on the use of thermography for the construction of mobility vehicles is being carried out at the Masdar Institute of Technology in Abu Dhabi. This technology is useful to shipbuilding via its secure implementation and excellent results. Download the article for more on how thermal imaging is used for things like vessel construction, surface inspection, detection of undercoat corrosion, quality control, and more.
