FLIR Systems Announces $17.5M Delivery Order From U.S. Army

Portland, OR — FLIR Systems, Inc. announced recently that it has been awarded a $17.5 million delivery order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama for its Star SAFIRE® III stabilized multi sensor systems. The units delivered under this order will support the ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. This order was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Work on the delivery order will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Portland, Oregon production facility.
