Mansfield, MA (January 24, 2023) – Videology Industrial-Grade Cameras, an inTEST Company and a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade camera systems and solutions, announced today it will be exhibiting at the upcoming SPIE Photonics West trade show in San Francisco. The show will take place at Moscone Center from January 31st to February 2nd.

On display in the Videology booth will be the all-new Zoom Block camera with SCAiLX technology, which is a first-to-market product with custom AI (artificial intelligence) on the Edge platform. Visitors at the show will find Videology located at booth #154.

SCAiLX technology, an innovative breakthrough in the imaging industry, was designed and developed in-house at Videology’s Center of Engineering Excellence in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The introductory phase of the SCAiLX launch will include the compact SCAiLX-ZB cameras (10x-40x optical zoom options) stacked with NXP i.MX 8M Plus (or Mini) based System-on-Module (SoM), LVDS-2-MIPI conversion board and 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet networking processor board.

The SCAiLX-ZB camera with artificial intelligence and machine learning on the Edge can detect, analyze and compare images right at the device level. This solution opens up new opportunities in many industries including transportation, energy, healthcare, financial services, retail and manufacturing. SCAiLX-ZB is available on nearly all cameras in Videology’s Zoom Block family of products.

“I’m pleased to announce the delivery of our SCAiLX-ZB product is ahead of schedule for this phase and will be available in May. In addition, SCAiLX will be available as a stand-alone SoM for custom applications, also within this time frame, with an expanded launch of SCAiLX products planned for Q2 and Q3 of 2023,” said Scott Nolen, Division President of inTEST Process Technologies, which includes Videology. Nolen continued, “We’re very excited about our SCAiLX technology as it offers our existing and prospective customers a viable, advanced AI solution for a wide range of smart applications.”
