Fiber Optic Assemblies: Fibre Pigtailed Laser Datasheet

Source: G&H

G&H offers a variety of lasers pigtailed using single mode, PM or multimode fibres. Every device is aligned to its maximum coupling efficiency using techniques and lens designs specific to a customers’ individual requirement. To reduce reflections back into the laser an 8° angle cleaved ferrule is used. Fibre types are selected from a large portfolio of fibres that are in stock to match the wavelength ensuring true single mode operation of the laser is maintained. Specialised fibres supplied or requested by customers can also be pigtailed to the laser. TO56 and TO9 are typical laser formats used for pigtailing however other formats can also be considered. For more information on the Fibre Pigtailed Laser, download the available datasheet.
