Sine Patterns LLCwas designed by the F.B.I. for gray level and resolution testing of the new Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS). The chart includes Ronchi areas with frequencies from 1 line pairs / mm to 19.6 line pairs / mm, and uniform gray areas having consistency better than ±0.02 O.D. Target size is 20 cm by 12.5 cm on a high durability base. Free image analysis software will be available soon for use with this target.
