Aaron Johnson introduces us to Accumold, an injection molding company with a strong focus on micro-optics, at Photonics West 2013. Some of Accumold’s recent optical projects include a lens arrays for the telecommunications industry and diffractive optics. This includes taking microstructures for lens arrays, or diffractives, themselves, and it applies to both imaging and medical applications.
