A deuterium-halogen light source combines the continuous spectrum of a 1000 hr. deuterium ultraviolet (UV) light source with a 900-hr. halogen visible/near infrared light source in a single optical path. The DH-2000 produces a powerful, stable output at from 220 nm to 2 mm; a deep-UV bulb option provides illumination to 190 nm. The source is designed for use with the company's miniature fiberoptic spectrometer systems.
