Desert Glass Works, Inc. (DGW)

DGW was established January of 1986 in Mesa, Arizona, supplying quartzware to the Semiconductor Industry. The company moved to Colorado Springs, CO., late in 1987 and began manufacturing on January 1, 1988. Currently we have a staff of 40 working in 20,000 sq. feet at two locations in Colorado Springs, CO.

The present customer base is varied and includes companies in the Semiconductor, Fiber Optics, Photovoltaic, Communication, Aerospace, Environmental, Medical, and Research Industries.

Our Computer Aided Laser and Machining Departments are available to serve all your precision cutting and machining requirements. The Lathe Department, with bore sizes from 1 ¼" to 14", and Quartz Fabrication Department, are able to handle both horizontal and vertical diffusion needs. WE are consistently updating all departments i.e. CAD, Manufacturing, Machining, Tooling, and Quality Assurance programs, to keep in step with Industry requirements.

DGW also offers a repair service, with charges that are normally one-third or less of the original purchase price. The repaired parts are returned to the original OEM specs, if possible, with a tremendous cost saving over the purchase of a new part.
