DeMaria ElectroOptics Systems, Inc. (DEOS)

For the Industrial markets, DEOS™ is a manufacturer of continuous, pulsed, super-pulsed and Q-switched, sealed-off, RF-excited, diffusion-cooled CO₂ lasers and associated electronics. These products are used by original equipment manufactures of laser marking/encoding, scribing, engraving, rapid prototyping, material processing, remote sensing, and medical systems. The DEOS™ CO₂ lasers have established the present state-of-the-art performance in power output per unit volume, small size, ruggedness, efficiency, and beam quality for industrial applications.

For the engineering, scientific, and specialty products markets, DEOS™ provides engineering, development, and manufacturing of specialized IR and far-IR lasers having outputs in the 4.5 micron to 2.1 millimeter spectral region. These products are used by scientific, military and industrial customers. DEOS™ also provides optical, electro-optical and electronics subsystems associated with these lasers for ground, sea, air, and space-based platforms. Applications of these technologies include: remote sensing, IR countermeasures, laser radar, vibrometry, spectroscopy, and other specialized industrial, scientific, and medical uses.
